My Article…
Hearing students and professors at the Austin Community College (ACC) asked me the two common questions: Is American Sign Language universal? Why did I use the capital “D”? I decided to write the article about the Deaf community to educate the hearing community at the ACC. The title is Using the Capital “D”: The Linguistic and Cultural Minority Group. The Accent is Austin Community College’s Student Newspaper. The Accent published my article on April 27, 2007.
First Deaf Working Oversea for US Army
Marc Rubin, 28-year-old, is a UTSA (The University of Texas at San Antonio) alumnus, and he has been declared to be the first Deaf individual to work oversea for US Army where he will be stationed in Italy as computer technician.

Deaf Yoga Featured in Yoga International Magazine!
Last night, my friend suggested me to read an article from the Yoga International Magazine. The in-depth article is about the Deaf Yoga in Austin, Texas.
Shannon Sexton, Senior Editor of Yoga International Magazine, interviewed with Austin Deaf Yogis for the magazine that discussed the current Deaf Yoga movement. The magazine is covering Deaf Yoga in its October/November issue.
